In this video, professionally trained chef Gemma Stafford explains how to make five delicious and unique mug cakes. A mug cake is a personal-sized cake that is baked in a mug in the microwave for just a minute or two. It's an amazingly easy technique, and it's a great way to make a beautiful dessert in just minutes.

We at SF Globe saw how easy these recipes were and knew that we simply had to share! These cakes would be a great baking project to take on with your kids or with your friends. The small size makes these cakes perfect for a group of people who all have different tastes! There's also very little clean-up involved, which is hard not to love. Each cake can be mixed and then baked in the same mug, meaning no huge messy mixing bowls at the end of the day. What's even better: each cake only requires a few simple ingredients, most of which may already be in your house. Gemma even provides one gluten-free recipe in this video, so these cakes can be made for people with even the trickiest of food allergies.

With the holidays coming up, this seems like the perfect way to make amazing desserts for any occasion. Gemma provides five in-depth recipes in this video, but you could definitely exercise some creativity and try out other flavors like pumpkin chocolate chip, lemon, or chocolate espresso.  Since the process is so easy and quick, you'll have plenty of time to make up and try out some recipes of your own.

Be sure to watch the video to see the correct way to make these delicious treats!
