We've seen a lemon being used to clean a toilet. We've seen how lemons can help fight the flu. Now we're seeing a lemon used as deodorant. Ann Le, who runs the popular Anneorshine YouTube page, released a video that displays a few more benefits of our favorite yellow fruit. While I was a bit skeptical of rubbing a lemon slice on my armpit and calling it deodorant, I was convinced by the end of the video. Not only is it effective, but a lemon has a much cheaper price tag than a stick of Old Spice. The video also touches on the benefits of drinking lemon water - as lemons contain vitamin C, magnesium, potassium, and help balance the pH level in your body.

Before discussing why a lemon serves as a good deodorant alternative, Ann also explains how the fruit can be instrumental in a face rub. She mixes lemon juice with two tablespoons of honey and gently applies it to her face. Honey is anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory and lemon can brighten and exfoliate your skin. Just make sure that your face is clean beforehand and that you avoid your eyes.

Last but not least, Ann talks about why using lemon as a deodorizer is a great idea. It's natural and works all day long, not to mention that it can lighten your arm pit skin tone.
