When we saw these two new parents holding their triplets, we didn't think much of it. But, when we found out why they're so special, we were dumbfounded.

Seeing how rare these beautiful babies are, we decided to do some more research on the matter.
According to Multiples.About.com, "It is rare for triplets to be completely monozygotic, meaning that all three children formed from a single egg that split three ways, or split into two and then one of the two split again, ultimately resulting in three embryos with the same general DNA characteristics." How incredible! If I were these lucky parents, I would've bought some lottery tickets on the ride home from the hospital, too.
