It's easy for many people to forget or ignore the issue of domestic violence, despite how prevalent it's becoming in society. Yeardley Love lost her life after being violently attacked by an abusive boyfriend. Yeardley was a well-liked lacrosse player at the University of Virginia who was about to graduate when the fatal altercation between her and her boyfriend occurred. Her death devastated the entire community, and forced her loved ones to start taking abusive relationships and the warning signs associated with them more seriously.

Now, her mother Sharon Love is partnering with family and friends to help stop the ever-growing issue of domestic violence. Sharon started the One Love Foundation and is making a huge impact by educating the public on the warning signs and consequences of domestic abuse. Sharon claims that had an organization like the One Love Foundation been around five years ago, her precious daughter might still be alive.

While nothing could ever replace Yeardley and the impact she had on those she crossed paths with, her family and friends are grateful for the opportunity to further their mission of ending domestic violence. The foundation has recently gained a lot of media attention, which is exactly what it needs to help spread awareness. Watch the video and share your thoughts with us in the comments below!
