An astounding sight took place off the coast of Destin, Florida, when a fisherman pulled a 13-foot hammerhead shark onto deck. The shark known as 'Phoenix' was caught during a sport fishing expedition and died trailing behind the boat. Bystanders looked on in a mixture of shock, disgust, and sadness as a deck hand cut open the shark.

Footage taken by bystanders shows the deck hand pulling out large amounts of baby hammerheads from inside of the shark. The man extracted a whopping 34 pups from the shark, a huge number considering that some species of hammerheads are endangered. Since being uploaded, this video has inspired many individuals to vocalize their immense disagreement with the killing of the shark.
