Janell Inez, the Handy Ma'am, made a guest appearance on "The Steve Harvey Show" to demonstrate all sorts of creative ways to utilize shoe organizers. These shoe containers cost approximately $10, so it won't break the bank to get organized this year.

Inez's first suggestion is to use the shoe organizers to keep track of toys in a child's room. Hopefully giving each toy an individual container will keep them from ending up on the ground.

This next trick is great for those out there who might have a cluttered pantry. Inez suggests using a shoe container to keep track of all the snacks in the house. She told Steve Harvey this allows her to keep track of the snacks her kids are going through and moderate their intake of candy.

For someone who has very limited space to grow a garden, Inez suggests using the organizers to plant herbs or small plants. "This is (perfect) if you have a small apartment or if you live in a studio (and) you don't have a garden or a backyard," she said during her appearance on Harvey's show.

Every room in the house could benefit from a shoe organizer. If your bathroom doesn't have many drawers to store cleaners, the organizer might be the perfect solution. It can house all the cleaners and cleaning tools you'll need to make your bathroom shine.

If using a door organizer isn't an option, the folks over at ehow also show a great alternative — placing the shoe organizer underneath your bed for a hidden storage space. It's still great at storing all sorts of knickknacks and removing clutter from any room.
