Learning to drive without getting distracted is hard enough. Putting Conan O'Brien, Ice Cube and Kevin Hart in the car made this nearly impossible for one student driver.

"Conan" staff member Diana Chang knew she was up for a challenge in a show segment where comedian O'Brien prepares her for her upcoming driving exam. The bit includes nonconventional advice such as ignoring instructions to drive with both hands on the wheel.

"See, I think that's not necessary," O'Brien quips. "It makes it hard to text. It makes it hard to make phone calls."

While O'Brien's direction seems unconventional, it doesn't come close to the next surprise. Chang's boss instructs her to park so he can pick up Ice Cube and Hart, stars of the new movie "Ride Along 2." Chang competently controls her laughter and concentrates on the road while her passengers cycle through topics, including male prostitution, throwing batteries and pennies at other drivers, and locations for medical marijuana dispensaries.

While much of the conversation might not benefit Chang's driving skills, Ice Cube does defend wearing seat belts.

"Tupac was one of the biggest thugs I know and he always wore his seat belt," the actor says referring to the late hip-hop artist Tupac Shakur.

While the California Department of Motor Vehicles does not require driver's education for those older than age 17 1/2, Chang's memorable outing gave her quite an education. Fortunately, the video ends with the confirmation that she passed her exam, earning a driver's license.
