Known as the diva theme that took Jennifer Hudson all the way to the Oscars, "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" from "Dreamgirls" challenges even the most skilled, experienced singers. Yet teenager Louisa Johnson didn't appear intimidated in this 2015 performance on "X Factor." By  Johnson's final notes, many, including notorious judge Simon Cowell, were on their feet.

“You’re 17 years old," Cowell said after the performance. "This. Doesn’t. Happen. I’ve sat here long enough. It’s not a question you’ve got a chair, but it’s who’s losing a chair." Cowell's remarks reflect that the performance came in the talent show's Six Chairs Challenge stage, when mentor Rita Ora could only select six contestants to go forward in the competition.

It seems Johnson meant these lyrics as well. She didn't end up going after all and won the whole competition. In fact, she even repeated the song as a duet with her mentor Ora later in the season. After which, Ora, said, " ...come on, please, are you hearing what I'm hearing? I'm so proud of her."

Do you think Johnson lives up the famous pedigree of this song? Could this even be counted as one of the top interpretations? Share with your friends and see what they think about this soaring performance.
