A bartender in North Dakota was brought to tears by a tip that customers left for her.
The woman, Shiela Weisgerber, 48, received a tip for $300 from a couple from out of town. Weisgerber said when she received the tip, she went to the bathroom and broke down. "I went to the bathroom and I cried," Weisgerber told ABC News, "and I was blown away because to me that's a lot of money."

Weisgerber said she thinks the couple, who were in town for a funeral, left such a large tip for her as a way to help her take care of three of her grandsons, Bentley, Ashton and Dalton. Bentley, Ashton and Dalton, are four-year-old triplets. Weisgerber has raised them since they were two months old because it seemed like too much for her daughter to handle.

"She tried to do it, and when the boys were two months, she said she couldn't do it, so I stepped in and offered to raise the boys," Weisgerber said to ABC News.

Weisgerber usually tells bar patrons about her grandsons and their adventures while she is working. She said in a Facebook post that the big-tipping couple overheard her talking about her grandsons to other customers, so she showed them pictures.

The bar owner, Dave Cole Jr. told ABC affiliate WDAY that the couple’s gesture gave other people in the bar hope as well.

"The last few months have been really hard with random deaths around here," he told ABC affiliate WDAY. "We really needed a boost. This was a godsend. Literally, it made everybody brighten up. You know that there still is good left.”

Weisgerber's Facebook post is transcribed below:

"I'm at work tonight (am still) and this couple comes in and orders drinks. I was talking to a couple regulars about the boys and this couple overheard and said "Triplets?!?" and I smiled and said yes. So I showed them a picture and they were like "Holy Cow!" Well they paid with a card and left their slip to on the bar, told me to have a good night and left. I cleared their glasses and took their slip to put in the til and this is what they left. I couldn't believe it! I had to go to the bathroom and cry for a few minutes....You only read about things like this happening...So grateful!"
