New moms often get inundated with unsolicited tips, advice, and even criticism -- and fitness model Chontel Duncan now understands that extends into the world of social media too. The famous model and Instagrammer posted this photo with her newborn baby, only to receive hundreds of negative comments about the way she was holding her newborn.

In the photo you can see Duncan's baby boy Miah upright against her chest with his head lifted up. Many commenters accused her of being too concerned with taking selfies to make sure he didn't lift his head this way -- which sometimes isn't safe for newborns. But Duncan said the photo only caught a quick moment when her son lifted his head, only to put it back down right away.

Duncan reports in her Instagram caption that the comments and criticism kept coming in, despite explaining the situation. So the model decided to post this latest picture: a side-by-side to show how her son lifted his head for only a moment before putting it back down.
