12-year-old country singer makes 'AGT' judges beam with unique twist on 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star'
"America’s Got Talent" contestant Kadie Lynn Roberson just reminded us that star-status can be found at any age. When the young girl walked out stage in her cowboy boots, the crowd was probably prepared for southern-style entertainment, but what they got was much more than that!
Kadie Lynn didn’t just sing a popular song from country radio. Instead, she performed a unique rendition of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." Her rich, powerhouse voice and skilled guitar playing immediately brought cheers from the audience and looks of complete surprise from the judges. Her show-stopping performance received a yes across the board from Simon Cowell, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel.
Cowell said this about her performance, “The show is a bit like mining for talent, we dig…and we dig..and we find a diamond, and that’s what we found today.” An article from Country Living even compares the young girl to likes of famed country singer LeeAnn Rimes!
