Magician blows Simon Cowell away with Rubik's Cube tricks
A 25-year-old magician, not even born during the 80's heyday of the Rubik's Cube, uses the iconic puzzle to stun judges during the "America's Got Talent" auditions. Steven Brundage even gets judges Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell into the act, as they assist him in his tricks of mixing and reversing the square, colored patterns.
"There's 43 quintillion different ways you can mix it up," Brundage says of the cube before before dropping the disarrayed puzzle into a paper bag. Moments later, he pulled the cube out of the bag with solid patterns realigned. When Klum requested to see the bag, the magician proved to her that it was empty.
A Times Union story reports that the Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-based magician still performs around his hometown area, even hosting a viewing party for his TV talent show debut. Brundage's website reports that this wasn't his first time on television, as he previously appeared on "Good Morning America," "The Today Show," and "The Steve Harvey Show."
