If you're wondering where all the cowboys have gone, you'll love this YouTube clip shared by mibellagenio007 of some of the biggest stars of the 50s and 60s singing in the film, "Rio Bravo." Of course, Dean Martin and a young Ricky Nelson won fame for their singing skills. Walter Brennan and John Wayne usually stuck to the acting.
"To watch 'Rio Bravo' is to see a master craftsman at work," Roger Ebert once wrote in his review of the star-studded movie. "The film is seamless. There is not a shot that is wrong. It is uncommonly absorbing, and the 141-minute running time flows past like running water. It contains one of John Wayne’s best performances."
Nelson, already a TV star, turned 18 shortly after filming started, according to IMDB. The movie trivia continues to reveal that Nelson's costars Wayne and Martin helped him celebrate by throwing him into 300 pounds of  steer manure.

Share this bit of nostalgia with someone you know will enjoy the Hollywood glamour of the Old West.
