This is a great arts & crafts project that'll have you ready for fall before you can spell 'autumn'. Mako turns a boring marmalade jar into an intimate late-year lantern, using just a few supplies.

Starting with an empty jar, Mako positions her leaves where she'd like them to land. She covers them in modge podge, leaving no leaf untouched. The whole process takes a bit of time, as you've got to let it dry overnight, but the end result is well worth the effort. She adds some twine to the rim using a bit of glue, which is a lovely touch.
We're asking SFG readers to chime in below, or let us know on Facebook — what special touches would you add to your lantern to make it unique?
