Your Mind Will Play Tricks On You As You Watch Him Create This
July 14, 2016
Riusuke Fukahori is a deep art writer living in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. In 2000, he was in a slump. He started to notice the beauty of his goldfish he had for seven years and attained from playing "goldfish scooping." Goldfish scooping is a traditional Japanese game that consists of snatching goldfish with an unique scooping device. He started looking at the goldfish in a new light and felt inspired. Advertisement
In 2002 he came up with a technique of painting a goldfish on the bottom of a bowl and then pouring resin into the bowl. With this technique he is able to make the fish look three dimensional, like they are swimming around the bottom of the bowl. Check out this video to watch the transformation happen right before your eyes.
