A man in England moved into an apartment without ever having seen it, but I don't think he was prepared for what he discovered under a floor panel. Watch below to see what I mean.

The video starts with a tour of his studio apartment. He mentions briefly that the rent was cheap, so he decided to move in without scoping the place out for himself. As it turns out, this building in the middle of England is a converted monastery, and the tenant speculates that it was built in the 19th century. As he pans the camera to showcase his new place, he remarks upon the high ceilings, but also reveals his disappointment with the bedroom. Apparently, he is unable to stand upright in the room, and the lack of a barrier between the loft and the lower level is cause for concern should he roll over in his sleep.
Those issues pale in comparison to what he finds when he performs a more detailed examination of the apartment. He notices a handle in a floor panel and assumes that there is storage space below. While he’s not wrong, he probably did not anticipate that there would be as much space as he finds. When he lifted the hatch and descended below his floorboards, I held my breath.

Watch the video to witness his subterranean exploration, and share your thoughts about his findings in the comment section below. Would you continue to live there?
