Little boys are infamous for getting into all sorts of mischief, whether it's something outrageous like jumping out of a tree or something a little more subtle like eating grass. Louis King is just such a little boy; he took a trip to the ER because he had apparently stuffed a pencil down his ear canal. However, as is the case with many little boys, Louis, most likely for fear of getting in trouble, waited over a week before he told his grandmother.

While Louis seemed fine, once he got into the ER and the doctor had a look at him, it was revealed that it was in fact not a pencil lodged in his ear canal. As the doctor dug around, he eventually pulled out a small watch battery. Seemingly not surprised, his grandmother shrugged it off, as most parents would do. However, it seemed that the little fiasco was not without its consequences. Louis had in fact ruptured his eardrum. Ruptured eardrums can result his hearing loss, but in the case of Louis, the damage was minimal and should heal in a matter of weeks
