This is Deanna Johnson's second appearance on "The Voice," after being rejected during Season 5.  She was about to give up the stage and start college to guarantee her future, even if she knew her true passion was to sing. But her father really encouraged her to give singing another chance, and she kept practicing at church.

During her first try on "The Voice," no chair turned around for her. But this time, although she was even more frightened and anxious, she got a standing ovation from the audience and all four judges turned to face her. The song that she chose, "Down To The River To Pray," was a perfect fit for her heavenly voice, and the spiritual lyrics, her loose white dress, and her angelic face made her seem like an angel from heaven.
