The dancing group Kyushudanji Shinsengumi blew the roof off of this year's World of Dance Finals in Los Angeles. The video below shows the all-male group confidently strutting onstage and delivering an explosive performance to an audience growing rowdier by the minute. Kyushudanji Shinsengumi ended up taking first place in the youth division at the competition as the video's YouTube title notes.

According to the World of Dance site, the Los Angeles finals took place on Aug. 16 in the midst of a worldwide tour featuring "more than 100,000 dancers and enthusiasts." This year was the first year that the company hosted a World Finals competition. San Diego, Moscow, Hawaii and Denmark are some of the many destinations listed as upcoming events in the World of Dance tour information.

There's little information available on the winning dance group Kyushudanji Shinsengumi. However, in a video uploaded to Facebook, World of Dance states that the group traveled all the way from Japan to compete at the finals. As described by the World of Dance site, Kyushudanji Shinsengumi received a trophy and a cash prize of $500 for taking first place in the youth division.
