21-year-old mom snaps photo, unaware of tragedy that'd 'devastate' her family

One woman's tragedy went viral after she shared photos of her husband and young son, along with the story of their untimely deaths, on Facebook, according to ABC News.
A "devastated" Destiny Mantia of Winfield, Mo., posted a photo collage of her family with the heartbreaking details on the one-year anniversary of the crash, according to ABC. In her post on Sept. 20, 2015, Mantia told about how her husband, Corey, had gone to work and she had spent the day with her 15-month-old son, Parker, just like any normal day.

"The action of this one selfish person who thought they were 'OK' to drive instantly took the life of my sweet, innocent, 15 month old son in the back seat," Mantia wrote on her Facebook page.
Posted by Destiny Mantia on Friday, September 18, 2015 Mantia and her husband were airlifted from the accident and her husband died the next day, according to ABC News. The woman who hit them also died from her injuries, according to media reports.
"One selfish decision to drink and drive caused me to be a widow and the mom to an angel at the age of 21. ... This hurt, pain and our future could have all been prevented if someone would have stepped up and stopped this selfish woman from drinking and driving," Mantia said on her Facebook page.
Posted by Destiny Mantia on Friday, September 18, 2015 Mantia told reporters that she suffered a serious concussion, but recovered within a few weeks of the accident, according to ABC.
She also told reporters that the family of the driver has never reached out. "I wish they would apologize. She was at a wedding reception, so I feel like there must have been at least 100 people that could've stopped her from driving that night."
Posted by Destiny Mantia on Friday, September 18, 2015 Her Facebook post, which has been shared nearly 60,000 times, also encouraged family members and friends to watch our for their loved ones.
"Don't allow your friends and family (to) drink and drive. Don't share DUI checkpoints. Be an advocate! Stand up with me! Let's stop this," she wrote on Facebook.
