Céline Dion gave a moving performance on Feb. 23 at her Las Vegas residency — her first night back since the death of her husband, René Angélil, according to Hollywood Life. Dressed in a gorgeous shimmering gown, the 47-year-old singer sang her version of the 1975 power ballad, "All by Myself." Concertgoer Ed Strickler shared a video on YouTube, recorded from one of the best seats in the house. With her very last notes, Dion was overcome with emotion, letting the tears flow as she looked out at the audience.

Hollywood Life reports that Dion's husband Angélil lost his long and difficult battle with throat cancer on Jan. 14, 2016. Best known as Dion's husband and manager, Angélil enjoyed a first career in the 1960s as a singer in the French-Canadian pop group, The Baronets. According to Hollywood Life, Angélil discovered Dion's outstanding voice when she was only 12 years old. As her manager, he helped her rise to international fame. Their relationship took a romantic turn in the early 1990s; Dion and Angélil married in 1994 and had three sons together.

In Dion's poignant tribute, the audience could feel Dion's pain and experience their everlasting love.
