Beautiful and etherial rarely describe political gatherings, but this video of then 13-year-old Lexi Walker singing at a 2016 gathering of the National Republican Congressional Committee defies the odds. The young star, who according to her introduction recently signed with Sony, sang, "Amazing Grace," "The Star-Spangled Banner," and "America the Beautiful" for the audience.

According to her website, the young singer previously performed with accomplished musicians such as Kristen Chenoweth, The Piano Guys, Lindsey Stirling, and David Archuleta. The Utah native's talent led her to performances at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, Radio City Music Hall and around the globe.

A 2014 article in the Deseret News describes how the singer, then 12, hit international stardom when her performance of "Let It Go" with Alex Boyé  became a viral hit on YouTube. At the time of the story's publication, the video logged more than 18 million views.

"I only saw the video one time right in the beginning before there were very many views," the humble musician told the news at the time. "It wasn’t until later that I heard it was going a little crazy. I’m really glad that people like it."

This this patriotic medley might produce yet another viral hit for the young singer. You'll want to pass it around, as a performance this good seems too incredible not to share.
