Augusto Deoliveira grew up without television, Internet, or access to a cell phone. He grew up on a farm in Brazil and spent most of his time training dogs and tending to the land. At the age of 12, he apprenticed for a professional dog trainer, mostly handling German Shepherds. As a result, Deoliveira learned to love the breed. When he moved to the United States at the age of 18, he started his own dog training business.

It didn't take long for people to notice him, he explains on his Facebook page. Videos of Deoliveira and his German Shepherds walking in unison drew plenty of attention, and before long he was making appearances on television and working with clients all over the country.
