In a particularly powerful segment of the ABC show "What Would You Do?", hidden cameras captured people's reactions to a racist patron who berates a Muslim shopkeeper. The patron and shopkeeper are both actors, but the reactions of the other store-goers are completely authentic.
Many people were angered by the racists' remarks, while one seemed to agree with him. But when a soldier caught wind of his actions, he put a stop to it. "He has a choice to practice his religion anywhere," the soldier said in regards to the shopkeeper, "That's the reason I wear the uniform, so anyone can live free in this country."

When the unnamed soldier realized that he was part of a television show, he insisted that what he did wasn't heroic. "That was just being a person," he explained.
