Exploring the great outdoors can be a fun experience, whether you choose the full campground experience with the RV or opt for a more low-key method. When you're dying for a hot meal, though, cooking yourself some hot food can be difficult, unless you've got a portable stove. What if you only have a campfire?

For those who don't bring their full outdoor camping gear, IntenseAngler, an outdoor do-it-yourself YouTube channel with over 100,000 subscribers, has you covered. In the video below, IntenseAngler demonstrates a very handy trick for cooking your breakfast using only a paper bag and campfire! In fact, this "cooking without utensils" technique has been a "long-time scouting tradition," according to the Boy Scouts of America

What is IntenseAngler's method? First, he takes strips of uncooked bacon and uses them to wipe and coat the bottom and sides of the paper bag. Next, he cracks the eggs inside the paper bag on top of the bacon. Finally, he folds the top of the paper bag to close it and get it ready for the fire. Simple as that! You'll have a bacon and eggs breakfast in no time. Why does this process work?

IntenseAngler explains, "The bacon grease saturates the paper bag, preventing it from combusting — bursting into flames. It allows the bacon and the eggs inside to cook to full completion." He tells viewers to cook the breakfast for at least 10 to 15 minutes and to exercise caution.
