You've likely seen it before. Someone takes a photo of themselves each day for a lengthy period of time and then creates a sped-up montage which shows how they age over that time. It's certainly a captivating thing to watch, as you can see the individual change right before your eyes.
However, this video isn't quite the same as the ones that depict a mother's pregnancy or the growth of a man's beard. This clip serves as a PSA for domestic violence and features a woman during the "worst year of her life." It begins like the others; the woman snaps a photo of herself smiling each day. But as the days go on, bruises appear and her smile fades. By the end, her face is covered in scrapes and scars. She holds up a sign, "Help me, I do not know if I can wait until tomorrow."

According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, every nine seconds a woman in the United States is assaulted in some form. Domestic violence is a rampant issue all across the globe.
