Much has changed in the world over the past several decades, thanks in part to incredible technological advancements. Nowadays, take one look around and you'll spot several people with their eyes peering at a smartphone. Twenty years ago, those were non-existent. In the popular YouTube titled "I Can't Believe We Made It," viewers get a look back into what life was like for children in the 50s, 60s, 70s, and early 80s.

The title refers to the sentiment that today there is a host of laws and regulations that weren't in place years ago. Simply put, times have changed. "We had no childproof lids or locks on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets," the narrator says. "We fell out of trees, got cut and broke bones and teeth, and there were no lawsuits from these accidents" he continues, "no one was to blame but us."

So, if you grew up in this aforementioned era, give the video a spin. It'll be like taking a trip down memory lane.
