The music kicked in, and Hope Murphy's audition at Britain's Got Talent was just underway. That is, until Simon Cowell put a stop to it. "Okay, I've heard that so many times," he told the 16-year-old, "I want to hear something different to what everyone else is singing." So, Hope had to pull another trick out of her bag and decided to sing "This Woman's Work" by Maxwell. The music once again kicked in as screams of encouragement echoed in the background.

When all was said and done, a roaring applause rang out. "I think that you are a star in the making," one of the judges remarked. Cowell was pleased as well, noting that she had a remarkable voice for a 16-year-old. Perhaps the abrupt change in the flow of Hope's audition let her shine in a way she didn't think possible.
